Many Children Are Stressed, Over-Stimulated and Over-Committed: What Can We Do?

This class will focus on helping our children budget their time, organize their academic and extra-curricular commitments, set realistic priorities, and become responsible and achieving members of their school and home communities. Parents of children as young as pre-school and as old as high school will learn to recognize the stressors which can lead to anxiety in children, with tips on how to manage or avoid over-stimulation and over-commitment at any age.

Dr. Dana Liebmann is a Certified School Psychologist who has worked in Princeton for the past thirty years. She was the psychologist on the Child Study Team at Princeton High School for many years, was in private practice, and, for the past twelve years, has been the Director of Personal Counseling at The Hun School of Princeton. She is a frequent speaker and writer on adolescent and parenting issues.
