LOGOS at a Glance
A special midweek enrichment program, LOGOS is an innovative Christian “Kids Club” that meets on Wednesdays from 5:00–7:30pm for twenty-four weeks, September through March. There is a different theme each week and many activities, including dinner, which relate to the theme. The program invites children from preschool through grade five to participate in a variety of activities and experiences. The children participate each week in the following: Bible study, worship skills (choir), family time dinner hour, arts and crafts, and playtime. The children also participate in mission projects including making lunches for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, collecting mittens for the mitten tree, sending cards to members of the military and our PCOL Friends at Home, and by participating in the Souper Bowl of Caring and the Haiti Sponsor-a-student campaigns. The children also run a Thanksgiving food drive for Crisis Ministries. Our focus is on teaching children that each one is a child of God, and on building positive relationships between children and adults, as well as among the children. This program is open to all children in the community.
If you are interested in enrolling your child in the Logos Program we accept applications over the summer into early September. The cost of the Logos Program includes a monetary fee plus a commitment of time from at least one parent of each registrant. The fee for the 2016-2017 year is $175.00 for the first child in a family, $165.00 for the second child, $155.00 for the third child and $50.00 for each additional child.
