“Life of an Actress”
An Afternoon of Broadway Music
with Peggy Valenti

September 15 at 3pm

Peggy Valenti’s one-woman show features a compilation of songs from Broadway musicals and popular music, as she tells the story of her life as an actress, singer, teacher, wife, mom, and now… a retiree. A graduate of Westminster Choir College, Peggy Valenti has performed in various renowned venues such as Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall, and she has enjoyed performing on community theater stages throughout Central and North Jersey. She has spent 27 years in Arts Education, with the last nine years of her career serving as a District Supervisor of Visual & Performing Arts in both Hillsborough and Clifton, NJ.  She currently serves as an Arts Integration Coach for various schools in Central and North Jersey and continues to teach voice.

Several years ago, Ms. Valenti put together the program “Life of an Actress” to help non-profit organizations raise funds. She believes that God blessed her with the “gift of song” and feels that this is a way to pay it forward. She is excited to be performing at PCOL!  Ticket sales for this one hour fifteen minute show benefit The Community Well (communitywellnj.org).
