SINGERS NEEDED! IMMEDIATELY!
The PCOL Choir is in need of singers – for all voice parts. We are going to adapt our schedule so there is a place for everyone in the choir. WE NEED YOU – please consider lending your voice in 2022. Again –we are working the schedule so that EVERYONE can participate.
If you can only come on Sunday morning – that is fine! Choir rehearsals will start at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings in the Chapel beginning on January 9th. We will cover music for the next 2 – 3 weeks and then review the music to be sung that morning. Please join us! But wait…..you want to sit with your family? Not a problem – come up to the balcony prior to the anthem to join in the singing, then return to your seat if you like!
Can you make ONE Thursday rehearsal a month? Then come the first Thursday of each month beginning at 7:00 pm in the Chapel. We will cover music for the next 5 – 6 weeks – then review it on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am.
Want to sing with CONCERT SINGERS on a larger choral work – only have one Thursday? – then come on the second Thursday of the month to sing with Concert Singers. We will be preparing “The Cry of Jeremiah” by Rosephanye Powell for Music Sunday in May 2022. This newer-work composed in 2012 is based on the 20th chapter of Jeremiah – and is filled with fantastic music!
Need to catch up? Regular rehearsals will still be held on the remaining Thursday nights each month and you are most welcome anytime!
