For the Men’s Retreat this year, we’re trying something different and joining men from around the presbytery at Camp Johnsonburg!
Join us Friday, February 27-Sunday, March 1!
We pray that you’d take this chance to step away from the business of life and connect with other men in meaningful conversation, shared meals, and intentional engagement with the theme “God’s Law, America’s Law, and Prophetic Citizenship.”
Teaching will be led by guest speaker Rev. George Erlandson of Community Presbyterian Church in Edison. Concerning the theme, George writes this:
“America is simmering with political tensions these days, and as men of the church for this day and age, we have a duty to meet this moment well. This retreat will focus on growing together in community as we examine the historic relationship of the church and state in the United States, examining the triumphs, failings, and the uncomfortable gray areas. All of this will be guided by the Old Testament prophets who call us to always follow the higher law of God.”
You can register for the retreat with the following steps:
**NOTE: the deadline to register is Monday Feb. 9th**
