The cost includes the price of admission, a docent-led tour, a lecture by Dr. Mikoski, and all transportation. Participants are responsible for the cost of lunch at the Barnes Foundation. We will depart via carpool from the parking lot of the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville at 9:30.
“One may have a blazing hearth in one’s soul, and yet no one ever comes to sit by it. Passers-by see only a wisp of smoke from the chimney and continue on their way. Now, look here, what can be done, should one tend that inward fire, turn to oneself for strength, and wait patiently — yet with how much impatience — for the hour when someone will come and sit down — maybe to stay? Let him who believes in God wait for the hour that will come sooner or later.”
