We are honored to welcome Rev. M. William Howard, Jr., helping us consider the question “Is Racism Something We Can Solve?” Rev. Howard is a longtime Lawrence Township resident and Pastor Emeritus of Bethany Baptist Church in Newark. He has served as President of New York Theological Seminary and in many other roles including Moderator of the Program to Combat Racism of the World Council of Churches during 1976-78. He is a graduate of Morehouse College and Princeton Theological Seminary, and holds six honorary doctorate degrees.
