We believe that faith is a journey, not a destination.
We hope that your path will lead you to visit us here at The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville.
Here is some information that might be useful before your first visit.
We have two services:
1. Our main service is at 10 am every Sunday (9:30 am in summer months July through Labor Day Sunday).
This is classic Presbyterian worship focused on Scripture and the preaching that aims at applying the Bible to our everyday lives. Music is a key feature of this service—classic and contemporary hymns sung with gusto, and a choir that glorifies God with sacred music from many places and periods. You will be warmly greeted by people dressed traditionally, but also many dressed informally or in “business casual.” Children are welcome here. Preschoolers (Pre-K) are welcomed in the preschool classroom before church (an usher or member will help you if you need to find the preschool room), but Kindergarten and older children usually begin in worship, and then are dismissed to their Sunday School classes after a children’s message at the front of the church. About once every five weeks, they have their own worship, in Children’s Chapel.
2. Our second service is a monthly Taiźe style worship (7:00 pm on the first Sunday of each month in the Chapel).
This is a smaller, more intimate worship experience focused on meditative singing. The words are often few and generally simple so that, through repetition, the music can be a means of both praying and listening to God. Another important characteristic of Taizé worship is silence. Scripture readings are followed by periods of silence to create an opportunity for personal reflection and meeting with God. Are you looking for a space to breathe deeply and (re)connect with God? All are welcome. Invite a friend!

Have questions? Feel free to contact us or just stop by the office.
Parking: Our entrance is at Gordon Avenue and Route 206 (Lawrenceville Road). This driveway will take you around back to our main parking lot at the north end of the building. If this lot is full, you can also park along 206, or find a spot somewhere across the street in downtown Lawrenceville. Here is a map showing additional parking places.
Handicap accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp into our sanctuary for our 10 am service. Unfortunately, the Chapel for our monthly Taiźe service is located on a second-floor space that is not wheelchair accessible.
