O Come Emmanuel
This Advent season we are reflecting on the many ways we experience God’s presence among us as individuals, as families, and as a church. You are invited to pick up sheets of origami paper at the church and write a prayer, a hope, a memory, etc. of a time you and/or your family have experienced God with you. Then follow the steps in the video below to fold your paper into a star; the symbol in the Christmas story bearing witness to the birth of Christ, God with us.
Each week during the season of Advent, you are invited to bring your star(s) with you to worship and place them in the basket under the communion table during the singing of the final hymn. The stars will be used to decorate our worship space this season as we prepare for Christmas together.
