The deed establishing the founding of the Presbyterian Church of Maidenhead (the original name of the church) is dated March 18, 1698. Join us on the upcoming Sunday closest to that date for a special service of worship that will include some of the prayers and worship forms of our Presbyterian forbears in this place. Although we will not dress in period costume–though no one would object if anyone did!–we will seek to pay respect to the worship traditions of those earlier generations of PCOL members. Following, we will have a special Adult Education session led by Bill Schroeder devoted to the history of the church.
