Imagine you’re in Jerusalem when Jesus enters on a donkey. Within the chaos and commotion of that scene, where are you and which way will you go? Join us as we enter Holy Week and wave palms and shout “Hosanna” together.

Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service

at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church

You are invited to join our three other Lawrence Township Presbyterian churches for our Maundy Thursday service, with a joint choir, at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church (1039 Lawrenceville Rd) on March 28. The evening will begin at 6pm with a very simple soup and bread dinner (free of charge), and the service will begin with communion in their sanctuary.

Good Friday Service

“Why have you forsaken me?” Jesus’ final lament gives voice to all those who have been forsaken in our society. Instead of trying to answer this question with logic or theology, we are invited to live it, to sit with it. What do we do in the face of such unimaginable suffering? Can we sit in the silence of death and trust that God is there? Will we be in solidarity with those who suffer and grieve? All are invited to join us for a brief worship service featuring a variety of music and drama.

Easter Sunday

Worship at 6:15am and 10am

On this Easter morning, who, or what, are you looking for? Why have you come to the tomb? What kind of veils need to be lifted so we can recognize God’s resurrection when it occurs? We’ll have two worship opportunities this Easter: our sunrise service at 6:15am in the cemetery and our celebration service at 10am in the Meetinghouse. Both will feature wonderful music and the flowering cross.
