What can we do when capital improvement projects keep us from gathering at the church for social events? The 325th Anniversary Committee is promoting Frolics to foster fellowship in the months ahead (and we can raise some money as we have fun). Funds will be divided between Missions and capital improvement projects.

What’s a Frolic? For those who may not know, a Frolic is an event or activity sponsored by a member or friend of the church to promote fun and fellowship. We are looking for members who would be willing to sponsor/host a Frolic between now and the end of the year. The following is an examples of a past Frolic. Come up with your own idea—the sky’s the limit—and submit it on the Frolic Submission form.

Family Canoe and Picnic Take a safe canoe ride.  Adults and children accompanied by adults are welcome.  Life jackets will be provided.  Following the canoe ride will be  a burger and dog cookout.

Remember that several people can join forces to sponsor a Frolic. Submit your proposal for a Frolic you’d like to host by filling out the online Frolic Submission Form here: https://forms.gle/x82hjmBe1vBXbanV7. Please submit your Frolic ideas by May 21.

General information:

  • All Frolic costs are covered by the sponsor/host
  • Alcohol may be served at the sponsor’s discretion, but only to those 21 years and older and in a responsible manner
  • Sponsors are responsible to find or provide venues for their Frolics
  • No raffling or gambling please
