We’re trying to organize 1 or 2 summer social events for our PCOL Men’s Group. Please help us out by taking a VERY brief survey that will help us decide (will take less than 5 minutes).
We may do up to two of these so…again, fill out the survey and we can determine what and when.
The Options:
Option 1: BBQ and Bev Contest. We’ll gather in the back yard of the manse and feast on a BBQ dinner, and enjoy your favorite beverages. For a little friendly competition, those willing will enter their best BBQ, and all will bring a favorite beverage. Voting will ensue, and may the best BBQ and Bev win! (Those not bringing BBQ will bring a side).
Option 2: Trap Shooting. Shooting a gun is on my bucket list (Jeff V writing here) – as ambivalent as I am with guns. Some of you are avid shooters. Whatever your attitude, let us know whether this is something you’re interested in doing – or in encouraging us NOT to do. Weigh in via the survey. This would be on a Saturday, morning and afternoon, at the Joint Base Rod and Gun Club.
Option 3: Reconnect with your inner 14-year-old. We will have an outing at Colonial Lanes for…whatever we feel like. Bowling? Video Games? Laser tag? Dinner and then…we’ll let our inner adolescent loose.
