The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville would like to give Lawrenceville families the gift of time.
We know what it’s like for parents–too much to do, and too little time for what’s important, like quality adult time together as a couple or with friends. The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville would like to give the gift of time to parents in our community by providing a night of fun for their kids, so they can reconnect as a couple.
On Friday, November 13, the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville will host a low-cost evening of food and fun for children ages 3-12 so their parents can enjoy a meal out, a movie or just a few hours of peace and quiet.
The event runs from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in the fellowship center at the church, 2688 Main Street in Lawrenceville. The cost is just $5 per child for the entire evening.
We’ll also provide coupons for a night out at a wonderful Lawrenceville restaurant.
Certified teachers from the Lawrenceville Presbyterian Preschool will provide childcare for the preschoolers. For older children, we’ll be fully staffed with volunteers from the church who’ve undergone background checks. These volunteers will lead a range of fun, interactive and “screen-free” activities for the children, who will also enjoy a dinner of pizza and salad. Gluten-free options will be available.
Sample activities for the older children include:
- Learning to juggle
- Basketball
- Music and singing
- Making birdhouses
- Collage workshop
- Freestyle Soccer tricks
Registration Information
Please register your child(ren), and select activity options. We will make our best effort to ensure children get their first choices. If registering more than one child, please register your eldest child as the main registrant; there are options below that to register additional children.
To ensure your child’s comfort, please note if your child has any food or other allergies. Please bring any medications, such as inhalers, epi-pens, etc. to leave with your child.
If your pre-schooler is not yet potty trained, please bring a diaper bag to leave with your child.
