Have you ever had what you’d consider a spiritual – or mystical – experience? Such experiences are common, and people often ignore them, or are even ashamed to share them, because they fear people not understanding. But what if such experiences are key to our understanding of spiritual reality, important as we seek to know what is really real? What if such experiences are like suddenly seeing color, when previously we could only see in black-and-white? Dr. Vamos explores these themes during Pentecost Sunday, when we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birthday of the church.

Sermon on May 20, 2018. Acts 2:1-21. The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey A. Vamos preaching.
