Help us Help People Register to Vote!
The Peace & Justice Committee has been participating in voter registration, education, and encouragement. Our member Rickey Gray has been leading us in participating with the League of Women Voters, NAACP, and several churches. We have connected with over 400 people so far. We are looking for your help as a volunteer at one or more of these events that include “Music in the Park”, Quakerbridge Mall, and writing letters through Vote Forward. Volunteers at an information table help to make non-partisan contact with people and encourage them to vote – or provide info to register if they are not registered yet, or have to update their registration. We provide a set of QR codes and information sheets about how to register, and where to find information about candidates.
