As Christians, we ought to be passionate about seeking the truth that the Gospel demands. But how can we also be humble when someone reading the same Bible as we do come to an opposite conclusion? Dr. Vamos examines that question in light of the great conflict of the 19th Century in America – the Civil War. People reading the same Bible came to opposite conclusions about the moral standing of slavery. Who was right? Is that the point?
