Yesterday was a day to acclimate and rest in the afternoon, but the main event was worship. Gordon Mikoski and I chose to attend First Presbyterian Church of Monrovia. An incredibly spirit-filled and lively worship. These were definitely not the “Frozen Chosen!” The congregation was so incredibly hospitable and welcoming. I was invited to do the Pastoral Prayer, and we were both given a copy of the history of the church by the church’s Senior Pastor, Charles Wellington Morgan.
