Children K-5 will gather for Children’s Chapel on May 12th at 10:00 a.m. in lieu of traditional Sunday School. Chapel follows the structure of the 10am Sunday Worship service, but is created for and partially given by the children. In this setting, children are able to practice traditional worship skills and experience a sermon that encapsulates what they have learned in previous weeks of Sunday School.

Last Children’s Chapel, on March 17th, the children walked the labyrinth and practiced meditative prayer in celebration of the Lenten season. Deacon Sue Steen also joined us for music and worship as we closed our previous Sunday School unit: Jesus Teaches: Foundations.

On Children’s Chapel Sundays, children should be dropped off at and picked up from the church’s 2nd floor Chapel. If you child is interested in assisting with music or as a liturgist for next Sunday’s chapel please contact Robyn Campbell at rcampbell@pclawrenceville.org.
