MLK Day of Service

Monday, January 17th | 10:00a

The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville and Temple Micah invite you to join us as we seek to honor the memory and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with our words and our actions. It is our hope that, in our commitment to one another and to our community, Martin Luther King’s vision for equality, justice, and dignity for all people––indeed a better world––might not only live on in us, but that we might come ever closer to seeing it’s fruition. The day will include a brief time of worship and various community service opportunities for people of all ages.

A note about COVID. Given the current surge in COVID cases, our interfaith worship service will be livestreamed here. You are welcome to worship with us in real time (10a) or at your convenience later. All of our service projects are designed to be completed remotely and dropped off at the church. We encourage you to take pictures and share them with us on facebook (@pclawrenceville, @TempleMicahLawrencevilleNJ).

Service Projects Include:

Grocery Store Scavenger Hunt benefiting Arm in Arm (Click here to download)
Rolling Silverware for Trenton Area Soup Kitchen
Baking Cake/Cookies for Trenton Area Soup Kitchen
Collecting/Donating Books (emphasis on MLK related books) for Book Smiles
